Every day at noon, the Preston Day Centre provides seniors with a nutritious, home-style lunch lovingly prepared by dedicated volunteers. Each meal features two dishes and a soup, with a rotating menu that ensures variety and balanced nutrition.

On special occasions, festive lunches add a joyful touch—such as prosperity meals for Lunar New Year, rice dumplings for the Dragon Boat Festival, mooncakes during Mid-Autumn, and sweet treats at Christmas. Even on regular days, surprise dishes like roast meats delight seniors and brighten their mealtime experience.

Volunteers pay close attention to dietary preferences and continually refine the menu based on feedback. More than just a meal, this service nurtures health, connection, and a strong sense of community—making every lunch feel like home.
