Join Our Volunteer Team

The Victorian Elderly Chinese Welfare Society is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing recreational and cultural programs for Chinese seniors in Melbourne’s western suburbs and the northern suburb of Preston.

We welcome individuals who meet the following criteria to apply as volunteers:

1. A genuine care for others, especially the elderly

2. A strong sense of responsibility

3. Respect for all individuals, with a commitment to upholding the dignity of vulnerable groups

4. A willingness to give back and contribute to the community

5. Compassionate, kind, and sincere in supporting seniors

6. No criminal record

Volunteers who meet these requirements may be eligible to have their service recognised under Centrelink’s volunteer program.
